Why is my computer not secure to store files?

* Your PC could be infected with a virus, trojan horse, it’s hard drive might fail one day or your operating system could crash. The files on our server are backed up every day and they are hosted at a state of the art facility that is extremely secure in Montreal.

Is storing my electronic documents using a free service bad idea?

* Some people like to keep a copy of their electronic files using free services such as their email service providors or other service providers such as DropBox.  While this is not a bad idea. You have to understand the implications of what you are doing . Majority of these services are run on the “cloud” . Meaning your electronic documents could be stored any where in the world with very little or no security involved. If the data in your electronic documents doesn’t contain any important or personal information there is no harm in keeping a copy in this manner. But the problem is most documents contain personal / private data. Hence the importance and the value of the service we provide.
